Sally Smith, Loveitts Auction Manager is pleased to report that Loveitts July auction was a success.
Sally said “with the recent reports and speculation regarding the current state of the property market, if I am honest, I was a little nervous in the run-up to the auction. We have a considerable number of people who ‘watch’ auctions as a gauge of the current marketplace, and I hoped that we would have a good one so that we can demonstrate that the market is definitely still buoyant, and we did!
There were fewer people in the room, but more people bidding. On several Lots Kendall our Auctioneer had several opening bids, and several bidders throughout the bidding on each Lot.”
The first and last lot sold as below….
Lot 1 – Land at Sutton Cheney – Guide Price £20,000 - £25,000 SOLD for £77,000!
Lot 22 – Bungalow in Mardol Close – Guide Price £90,000 - £110,000 SOLD for £126,000!
80% of the Lots sold for above the upper end of the Guide Price range!
There are still a few Lots that of course did not sell, but as always deals will be done in the next few days on those. To see all Lots that did not sell please visit loveitts.co.uk
