Loveitts, which was earlier this year named as the top performer for the Auction House group, once again enjoyed a bumper auction this month with sales netting over £1.3m not including three properties which sold prior such was their attraction.
Out of the 22 lots originally available, 14 were sold and the auction team at Loveitts are highly confident that the remaining unsold properties will be sold as a considerable amount of interest was shown in each.
Highlights included an attractive commercial property in popular Earlsdon Street which sold for £400,000, as well as a substantial numbers of the properties sold achieving well above the guide price with a property in Sheriff Avenue, Canley selling for a massive £220,000 against a guide price of £140,000 - £150,000. Other properties included a highly desirable property at Calvert Close in Cheylesmore and a three bed terrace in Bramble Street, Stoke which also beat its guide price of £150,000 - £175,000 to achieve £187,500 which created a lot of interest on the night.
Loveitts now has its sights set on its next auction which takes place on Wednesday 18th July at the Village Urban Resort Hotel, Dolomite Avenue, Canley, Coventry, West Midlands, CV4 9GZ.
Properties are already being lined up amid the huge interest their auctions have attracted in previous years since the Loveitts auctioneers slammed their first hammer in 1843.
The continuing success of the Loveitts auctions demonstrate the crucial role auctions are playing as a means of driving property sales across the board at the Warwickshire-based estate agents.
Sally Smith, Loveitts Director and Auction Manager commented: “Once again we were able to offer property buyers and investors a diverse range of properties. We had a great attendance and each of the lots received a lot of interest.
“Our sales rate continues well above the national average which demonstrates the ever increasing popularity of the auction marketplace within the Coventry and Warwickshire region.
“Preparations are now gaining pace for our next auction in July and we are confident that we will once again have an exciting range of properties and investment opportunities available.”
Loveitts Estate Agents has a pedigree of being practicing auctioneers since their establishment 1843. Now celebrating its 175th anniversary, Loveitts is looking to further reinforcing its market leading position having joined forces with Auction House towards the end of 2017.
