COVID-19 Update

Land and property owners looking to offload their assets for a quick cash return are invited to consider selling them at auction.

Loveitts, the leading auctioneer in Coventry and Warwickshire, is holding one of its popular auction events on 6th February, allowing vendors a quick sale which in many cases can reach far higher than the reserve price.

Already there is a vast range of properties up for grabs at the event – from a one-bedroom, ground floor flat in Whateley Court, in Queens Road, Nuneaton – thought to be the cheapest in the town with a guide price of £40,000 to £50,000 – to an interesting three-bedroom semi-detached former retail premises in Peel Road, Warwick, with a guide price of £200,000 to £250,000.

Other properties on offer include a five-bedroom terrace in Hillfields, a two-bedroom flat in Childes Court, Nuneaton, a one-bedroom flat in Vauxhall Close, Hillfields, a three-bedroom, end terrace at Stewart Street, Nuneaton, a three-bedroom terrace in Dennis Road, Wyken, a three-bedroom end terrace in Middlemarch Road, Radford, and a two-bedroom terrace in Silverton Road, Foleshill.

Sally Smith, Loveitts Director and Auctioneer said already there was a vast array of lots online ahead of the event which were attracting plenty of interest from potential buyers.

Sally said: “Auctions are popular among buyers and sellers alike. For those looking to make a quick sale, perhaps to release some equity, it is a far quicker process than entering into a chain. Also, if there is more than one person actively bidding for your property it can push the sale price up substantially.

“Buyers can benefit from being able to find a property which would not necessarily be available on the open market.

“An auction also offers vendors full protection with the drop of the hammer acting as a legal contract signifying the sale of the property.”

Sally said Loveitts were aiming to build on a hugely successful 2018 which saw a record auction in September with a bumper crowd and most properties fetching far higher than their guide prices, as well as an extensive line-up of properties at its November auction.

The next auction takes place at the Village Urban Resort Hotel in Canley, Coventry, on Wednesday, February 6 at 6.30pm closely followed by the 21st March;.
