COVID-19 Update

Loveitts final auction of the year did not disappoint achieving an impressive 83% sales success.

Out of the 23 lots, 19 were sold, with achieving well above their guide price and the auction team at Loveitts is confident that sales will be agreed on the four unsold properties in the coming days.

Best sellers included a 3 bed property in Grange Road, Longford which sold for £106,000 following a fierce bidding war having had a guide price of between £60,000 - £70,000. A 2 bed property in Elgar Road, Courthouse Green also beat all expectations again achieving £106,000 on a published guide price of £70.000 - £80,000.

Both properties were sold towards the end of the night bringing an exciting close to proceedings for the 350 plus people who attended.

Other properties in the line-up included a one bed flat in Abbey Street Nuneaton which was a steal at £45,000 officially making it the cheapest property in Nuneaton, a parcel of land in the midst of the Cotswold Village of Hidcote Boyce as well as a mix of land and residential properties which all proved to be popular from both bidders on the floor and over the phone.

Sally Smith, Loveitts Director and Auction Manager was delighted at the outcome. She commented: “We had a fantastic night and it was a great way to end the year.

“Our sales success rate is well above the national average which clearly demonstrates that the auction marketplace within the Coventry and Warwickshire region continues to be extremely buoyant – a trend which shows no sign of slowing down.

“Preparations are already well underway for our next auction which takes place on Thursday 8th February, closely followed by Thursday 23rd March, when we are confident to have an even bigger and more exciting range of properties up for grabs."
