Location: Coventry
Working pattern: Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. alternate Saturdays 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. (with time off in lieu). Part-time may be considered.
Salary £28,000-£30,000
This is a unique role within a specialised area of the Loveitts' (part of Sheldon Bosley Knight) business. We are looking for a key member of the team to assist with the day-to-day running of the Department and to participate and contribute in the growth of the Department through ONLINE and LIVE auctions. This is essentially a sales role and would suit an individual who has a flair and passion for selling property, speaking to and guiding clients or someone who can value property and guide sellers through the process.
The ideal candidate is someone who has an enthusiasm to learn and develop their existing skills and knowledge. Full and thorough training will be given to the successful candidate.
Primary Responsibilities
This role encompasses various aspects and is flexible to suit the right candidate, whether it be a sales based or a valuer role or perhaps a combination of the two! The responsibilities can be adapted to suit the right person!
- Dealing with Auction enquiries
- Negotiating post-auction sales
- Appraisals of potential auction lots
- Photos and measure-ups
- Establishing and managing partner agents
- Building relationships within the local business community
- Ad-hoc viewings
- Social media
Knowledge
No experience necessary, although a property sales background would be an advantage. the role would suit an existing residential or commercial sales negotiator or valuer looking for a fresh challenge and perhaps and adjustments o their current role.
Skills
- Sales experience would be advantageous particularly in the property market
- Have a commitment to providing an excellent standard of client care
- Be IT literate with experience of using a management system
- Proactive and business-minded
- Able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
- Strong organisational skills - able to prioritise own time and workload
- Ability to work well on their own and as a team
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Must have a full driving licence and own a car
