Credit Controller - Coventry

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our busy Coventry City Centre branch. We require a full -time Credit Controller to assist with debt collection for the firm, collect rent for commercial and residential management clients within a large portfolio. The job consists:

  • To collect rent arrears and outstanding fee invoices in accordance with current legislation, client instructions and company policy.


  • To serve appropriate notices for court action and possession where warranted.


  • To liaise with the company’s bailiffs and refer cases for recovery action where necessary and in accordance with client’s protocol and company policy.


  • To reduce the level of former tenant arrears and to assist in the prevention of such incidents occurring.


  • To recover the cost of dilapidations from former tenants and guarantors, referring such cases for court or bailiff action where necessary.


  • To liaise with the Dispute Service in relation to tenancy deposits, as necessary.


  • To reduce Debtor Days in respect of outstanding fee invoices.


  • To maintain any necessary records in order to provide structured reports on credit control to Loveitts’ Directors and clients.


  • To promote the company’ best interests, products and services.

Chartered Surveyor – Coventry

Established in 1843, Loveitts is the largest independent multi-discipline practice of Estate Agents, Chartered Surveyors, Valuers and Auctioneers in Coventry and Warwickshire.
We are looking for a RICS qualified, Building Surveyor to join our team based in our busy Head Office, Coventry City Centre. 
The ideal candidate will have post qualification experience in a similar role.
This is a full time position - Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5pm.

 Duties to include;
• Undertake routine inspections, principally of commercial management properties.
• Prepare appropriate schedules of condition, dilapidations, notice of repair etc. to include costing of dilapidations – negotiate claims and settlements.
• Administer/supervise any significant building alterations, conversions, refurbishment projects etc. to include preparation of basic drawings, applications for building regulation approval, specifications etc.
• Section 20 consultation procedures.
• Develop systems for ongoing maintenance/repair programs to managed properties.
• Deal with Party Wall Act related work.
• Health & Safety issues, asbestos management, fire risk assessments.
• Develop a building surveying discipline within Loveitts.

Ad hoc Viewing Representative

Based at our Coventry office, Loveitts are looking for an ad hoc part time viewing person, to carry out viewings of empty and occupied residential and commercial premises.  The suitable candidate must be professional, smartly presented, and able to communicate well.  A full driving licence and own transport is essential.

Hours and days are flexible, as we are unable to confirm week to week when we will be busy and in need of someone.
