Land and property owners looking to
sell their assets for quick cash returns are invited to auction them off in
Coventry next month.
The invitation comes from Loveitts which
is holding one of its popular bi-monthly auction events which are renowned for
regularly attracting bids far higher than the reserve price.
With a heritage stretching back 175
years, Loveitts has grown to become the leading auctioneer in the Coventry and
Warwickshire area.
Auctions regularly feature a wide
range of lots, from lay-bys and small parcels of land, to industrial units and
residential and commercial properties.
Lots in July included a 0.76-acre
piece of land in Stretton-under-Fosse, Rugby, which sold at £260,000 – more
than three times its original value.
Sally Smith, Director and
Auctioneer at Loveitts, said: “The popularity of auctions has continued to grow
over the years, with buyers and sellers alike realising they are an excellent means
of acquiring or offloading land or property.
“Sellers realise the benefits of
auctions in helping them to make a quick sale and avoid entering into a chain. Added
to this they have the opportunity to make a lot of money on their sale if there
is more than one party with a particular interest in their asset.
“And buyers too can benefit, by
finding a bargain which might not necessarily be available on the open market.”
Sally said both sides are offered
full legal protection with the drop of the hammer acting as a legal contract
signifying the sale of the land or property.
The auction takes place at the
Village Urban Resort Hotel in Canley, Coventry, on Thursday, September 26th.
