LATEST NEWS FOR PROPERTY AUCTIONS

Loveitts Auctioneers had their best Auction so far this year, which also reflects the upturn in National statistics, issued by the EIG Group.

Loveitts held their bi-monthly Auction last Wednesday at the Allesley Hotel in Coventry, which was well attended by over 200 people. Sally Smith, Auction Manager, and Associate at Loveitts said ‘we were really encouraged by the number of people that attended. There were more people bidding in the room and this led to some serious competition between bidders. A couple of the Lots sold for well over the Guide Price, with 3 lots selling for over 70% above the Guide!

It just goes to show that there are buyers out there, and the combination of correctly priced properties, intensive and through marketing, can certainly produce some fantastic results.’

David Sandeman, of E I Group said about the results on a National basis ‘ The numbers for April fared well when compared with April 2010 especially when one remembers the Easter Break and the royal wedding fell in the month, leading to many taking a protracted holiday. It is encouraging to see the number of lots being offered, remaining steady, and the percentage sold moving up by 7% over the past year.’

Loveitts are currently taking Lots for their next Auction on 6th July 2011. For further information please call 02476 527789 or visit Loveitts new website at www.loveitts.co.uk.
