LOVEITTS GOLF DAY A SUCCESS

80 kind-hearted Loveitts staff and associates teamed up this week at the prestigious Warwickshire Golf and Country Club to raise over £4000 of much needed funds for Zoe’s Place, the estate agent’s chosen charity for 2017.

is the third year in which Loveitts has held its golf day and it is an event which has grown in popularity with this year beating all records.

companies including solicitors, accountants, property developers and many more from throughout the region all joined together on a gloriously sunny June day for a fun afternoon of golf, dinner, drinks and friendly competition in aid of an excellent cause.

the green, the 19 teams who took part put on an impressive display of golf with Lloyds Bank taking first prize. In second place was PJ Flooring, whose team included Paul Barnes and Justin Whiteley from Loveitts, with Cocks Lloyd Solicitors taking 3rd place. A number of individual prizes were also presented including ‘Nearest the Pin’ which was won by Mark Morgan of Morrison Insurance and ‘Straightest Drive’ which was won by Peter Martin of Band Hatton Button.

All winners received a trophy and golf equipment.

is the second year in which Loveitts has nominated Zoe’s Place as its chosen charity and last year raised over £10,000.

Director Paul Barnes said that the golf day was so successful that they are hopeful of exceeding this figure in 2017.

commented: “It was a fantastic day which was much enjoyed by all. Not only did we have a record number of players, the sum raised also beat other years setting us well on course to exceed our fundraising target for this year. The weather was kind too!

Zoe’s Place is an incredibly important charity, playing a vital role in the local community and we are delighted to be able to support the charity in this way.”

Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice is the Midlands’ only dedicated facility for babies and young children up to the age of five and is faced with the ongoing challenge of raising £1.3 million per year to keep its doors open 24/7.
