Loving local property? New portal for property searchers launches on Valentine’s Day

A new locally focused property portal, wearethemarket.co.uk goes live today for people living in Coventry and Warwickshire who really love where they live. The Midlands-born portal has been developed by a group of well-respected independent estate agents who love local property and want to help buyers and renters find their dream home in their perfect location.

Featuring the majority of all the housing stock available to buy or rent in the local area, wearethemarket.co.uk gives local searchers first access to properties in their area before they go on to advertise them on the big national sites.

“We’re excited that wearethemarket.co.uk is now live with so many independent agents signed up as founders and ambassadors for the portal, as well as having rugby legend Jason Robinson OBE lending his support. wearethemarket.co.uk is owned and managed by 28 local independent agents, who between them have 53 local offices and know their local property area inside out. This means people now have a new place to look to buy or rent properties which will eventually contain all the great local information they need before viewing a property,” said Mike Cleary, Director at Sheldon Bosley Knight and co-founder of the portal.

Commenting on the launch of the new portal, John Pugh, Managing Director at Loveitts, said, “For me, the wearethemarket.co.uk concept is the future for buying and renting property ‘locally’. The ‘Look Local’ pages will provide customers with instant access to information on schools, parks, community facilities, churches, best local cafes and pubs - when they’re open again! This all helps to inform the decision-making process when prospective purchasers and tenants are looking at where they might want to live next. So, whilst the home itself is so important, so is the location, or ‘location, location, location’ as we say in the trade!”
