NEW LOVEITTS/WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PARTNERSHIP

Loveitts have yet again been appointed as a preferred agent by Warwickshire County Council following a competitive tender process to provide services for the marketing and disposal of both commercial and residential property assets throughout the County.

Warwickshire Council owns approximately 600 properties, a number of which are now to be disposed of as part of a rationalisation process which Loveitts will assist with in terms of marketing various properties for sale or lease which have become surplus to requirements.

The appointment of Loveitts is for a further two year period from September 2012 with the opportunity to extend for a further twenty-four months.

John Pugh, Director, comments: ‘It is obviously very rewarding to have been appointed yet again by Warwickshire Council Council as one of the preferred agents to dispose of the County’s assets having previously been instructed on the sale/letting of a number of library sites and also former school sites on behalf of the Authority.

‘This is clearly a testament to Loveitts professionalism and the quality of service we have offered the Authority in the past and we look forward to developing even closer relationship with the County going forward’.

Loveitts are currently retained by Warwickshire County Council in the disposal of former library and information centre sites at Binley Woods, Baddesley/Grendon, Kingsbury and Bedworth Heath, and are the appointed agents for the sale of Michael Drayton Annexe School site at Hartshill and also the former Magistrates site and Police Station site in Atherstone which is a joint instruction involving the Warwickshire Police Authority.
