They say teamwork makes the dream work and that was
certainly the case for staff across the Sheldon Bosley Knight business at a
site in Evesham.
Our commercial department was initially asked to provide a
written RICS Red Book valuation of a former church in Chapel Street.
Subsequently, the team was then instructed to sell the
freehold of the building with full planning permission in place for its
redevelopment. This would entail the demolition of the existing construction
and its replacement with a three-storey building comprising eight flats. Seven
of the flats were to be one-bed and one two-bed.
After we successfully sold the site, the new owner went on
to develop it, creating eight apartments which are now available to let through
our Evesham lettings department.
Sheldon Bosley Knight’s commercial director, Mark Treadwell,
said: “This project was really interesting and professionally satisfying to
work on for two reasons. Firstly, for making sure our client received quality,
timely and realistic advice.
“Secondly, because we were able to participate in the full
property lifecycle from initial valuation and scheme design through to
redevelopment and letting in the site’s new layout and residential use.”
Our teams are experienced in all areas of land and property,
including planning and architecture, sales, lettings and new homes and are on
hand to help maximise your land and property’s potential.
