Paul Barnes, Director of Loveitts, has urged tenants to read up on the new legislation.

“For tenants it is important that if you do find the perfect property for you with us, than speed is of the essence with information provided promptly to us as agents.

Gather all the information you’ll need in advance so that when the time comes to complete the application and referencing, everything is to hand and you’re ready to go. This may simply be the details of all the tenants’ referees (employer, previous landlord and bank) including names, address and telephone numbers.

Being able to immediately pay the initial monies as a reservation fee will show your commitment to the property and once successful that will be put forward as rent for the first month’s rent.”

If you have any further information do not hesitate to contact the lettings team at Loveitts and we can assist with your query.
